TS urges Bharat Biotech to allot more vax doses

Hyderabad TELANAGANA State Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar has requested the Bharat Biotech CMD Krishna Ella to give high priority to the State in allotment of Covaxin. The Chief Secretary met Krishna Ella in BRKR Bhavan on Tuesday on instructions from Chief Minister K ChandraShekar Rao.
Somesh Kumar has briefed about the Chief Minister's decision to vaccinate everyone in the State above 18 years of age for free to stop the corona virus spread. He requested the Bharat Biotech CMD to give high priority and supply more vaccine doses to the State. To this, Bharat Biotech CMD has given a positive response to Chief Secretary's request. He said the company would supply more vaccine vials to the State.
Jayesh Rajan, Industries Secretary, Telangana, and Sai Prasad, Director, Bharat Biotech attended the meeting.
